Since 1997 NPMC offers internship opportunities for young people and adults from various organisations, insititutions, colleges and universities. Some of our students have excelled in their performance and won awards and professional recognition such as Kenya Union of Journalists (KUJ) Journalist of the Year Awards (JOYA).
Students on attachment in the NPMC have the possibility of developing their skills in digital radio production with the NP Africa Radio Service; print journalists can perfect their writing skills with NP Magazine. Depending on one's interests and abilities, students on attachment can also be introduced to on-line or digital journalism with NP Media Online. Normally, students on attachment can participate in our monthly training workshops in radio production, web development, journalism, photography and video production etc.
